Lachesis 30 is one of the best for menopausal flooding. Use it when blood is very dark, thick, and strong smelling, when pain is more intense at the beginning of the flow, and when rage is the predominant emotion.
Sepia 30: for heavy bleeding. Try it when the periods come frequently, the bleeding is heavy, painful and accompanied by backache or constipation and depression.
Belladonna 30 : flooding with bright red blood and clots. You’re swollen, ultra-sensitive, and/or headachy before and during bleeding.
Ipecacuanha 30: when flooding is bright red and continuous. You may have cramps, feel weak and/or vomit.
Secale 30: for flooding without clots, but with severe cramps.
China 30: for flooding with dark red clots and exhaustion.
Natrum mur 30: when flooding brings tears, exhaustion, depression; periods are irregular and prolonged; with cramps, headache, constipation.
Sulfur 30: for the woman who floods and has drenching sweats with hot flashes.
Selected remedy/remedies to be taken 3-4 drops in 1/4th glass of water; at 8 hourly intervals; preferably empty stomached or 30-45 minutes before or after meals.
Select the remedy that most closely matches the symptoms. If no response is seen within a reasonable amount of time, select a different remedy.
