Mrs. Delgadillo was driving the SUV issued by the City to D.A. Delgadillo and did $1,200.00 worth of damage to it approximately 2 years ago.

Extenuating circumstances:

1. She was driving on a suspended license.
2. D.A. Delgadillo had the city pay for the repairs until the newspaper published the story. Only then did he write a check.
3. Mrs. Delgadillo has/had at least one warrant out for her arrest due to driving citations and was never picked up or prosecuted. Isn't it her husband's job to have his staff follow up on these things? Maybe he couldn't find her...
4. Sometimes the staff in the D.A.'s office takes care of the two Degadillo children during office hours - but the D.A. says that's ok, cause it's on their own time.

Paris Hilton did time for driving on a suspended license - should Mrs. Delgadillo?

Should the Delgadillos pay interest on the $1,200.00 that they didn't pay for the repairs for two years?
Update: Should they be charged for Day Care Services?

Should the D.A. have the SUV taken away and replaced with an environmentally freindly car?

Should he just be fired for breaking the law while being an elected official and behaving unethically?
