Hi Lauren, pop-ups are generally the result of spyware. So although you use a quite good Anti-Virus in Norton, which is pretty good at finding viruses, AV's are not so good at finding spyware. I use what I consider the best pound for pound AV, PC-cillin and its superb at stopping viruses and has its own separate spyware scanner with it too, but it's about as effective as defender. So I use specialist spyware progs, the best being AD-Aware from Lavasoft, 2 versions are available and 1 is free, which I use and find it deals with spyware perfectly. I could run my AV spyware scan and maybe find 1 problem, but scan with Ad-Aware just after and it may find a dozen or so more. Also as back-up get SpyBot, free again and run that after an Ad-Aware scan to pick up the dregs. Hope this helps,
