my computer display flashes on the internet.what causes this?

Need more info. Is it just when you are on the internet? Is it only within your web browser, or is your entire system doing it? It could possibly be that your network is being choppy, your monitor is dying, or perhaps your system is a little sluggish and could use some more memory. Also, it could be spyware/adware/virus clogging up your system, if that would be the case.
