The exact cost is really unknown. No one can give an exact figure. There are too many pitfalls along the way. The cost of living, is taken into consideration. Prices for certain things pertaining to a child's health and well being, education, etc. changes each year. A child becomes an adult at age 18, not 21. Then you have to take into consideration the parent[s] raising the child, things for them change. You have to raise a child on a day to day basis. I can't give any figure as I would be lying.

I think it really depends. It depends on your income as a parent. If you make more then your neighbor, you may be able to give your children more. Some kids only belong to one sport, some 3. That's a much different cost. Then it depends on what you provide your children with. If you buy them LL Bean backpacks each school year, you are spending more then someone that use the same old one every year from walmart. Some parent send their kids to private school, some to public. Some parents can't afford to pay for college, others can.

Get what I'm saying. It really depends on your income, etc.

    newborn and infant care (medical visits, innoculations) $2000, child care $5200 x 3 years = $16500 Clothing $birth to 5 years = $3000 so that's $21,500

    school years 6 - 18 = $62000 now that's $83,500

add sports, dance or music lessons $6000 = $89,500

special events- 3 graduations 2 proms $2500 = $92,000 on the cheap side! No private education included.

    depends on ones job...........

the more the parents makes, the more they'll spend on the child............

but that doesn't mean that the parents with low income can't raise their child just as good....[in most cases better]

when rearing children, love is the one most important thing one can give their child........

    love them,

    train them,

    manage them,

    motivate them and

discipline them and they won't even notice if you have money or not.........they'll love you back.......now that's priceless.....
