How do you open a terminal window on a mac?

I don't even have a clue what it is, but darwinports says in order to intall something, you have to open a terminal window.

    You can find the Terminal in your Utilities folder, which is in your Applications folder. Also, you can type "Terminal" in Spotlight to find it.

    BE VERY CAREFUL WORKING WITH THE TERMINAL.

    If you don't even know what it is, it's likely that you don't know how to use it, either. It is the command line for the Unix system that Mac OS X runs on. You could harm your system if you mess up something in the terminal. Be sure to follow the directions for whatever you are doing VERY carefully. Copy and paste, if possible.

    a terminal window is a command line and you need to know all the commands to type in if you don't then your wasting your time looking for it...

    now if you have questions like that you need to go to Mac support web site, and ask the geeks there

    Open Finder.

    Go to Applications -> Utilities

    There you will find the Terminal Application

  • honestly whyd u get a mac? was it because of their horrible commercials you just felt bad for them? ok listen just sell your mac and buy an regular windows ok just do it ok trust me.
