what is the difference between a khimar and a hijab?
this is a serious quetion, i would like serious answers. thank you in advance.

Technicallt there shouldn't be a difference, but today there is, so hes the definition:
Hijab: a headscarf that is secured around the head covering the neck, hair and entire head except for the face. It usually reaches to the shoulders.
Khimar: A long piece of cloth that drapes from the head all the way down to the elbows, hands, knees or feet (depending on what length you choose).
