How many laps must a NASCAR race go before it is official?
For instance, the race is rained out after say, 75 out of 200 laps. What is the percentage of laps before it is suspended or just declared over?

It's just halfway, not halfway plus one lap. There was a Busch race a few years back with an odd number of laps. It began to rain during the lap that would count as halfway. Since the cars were parked on the backstretch, Helton decided that they had reached the halfway point and made the race official.

nicely it relies upon on the miles and the size of the music. working example the Daytona 500 arising...Daytona is a 2.5 mile music so as that they are going to run 2 hundred laps to have 500 miles.
