Sybergs on Market street is good. and Landry's in Union Station has the best Seafood (also on market) But the absolute best would have to be lion's choice. I believe the address is 600 pine st. The most tastiest roast beef sandwhiches ever!. EVER!

St Louis restaurants are the best kept secret in the U.S. The pasta on "The Hill" is fantastic. You will find dozens of Italian restaurants there - all with first class menus. Then there is Mike Shannons Steak House, and Tony's downtown. In Clayton there's Ruth Chris Steak House and on Lindbergh Blvd there's the best prime rib in the U.S. at Kreis Restaurant. Between 4th and 20th Street in downtown there are numerous restaurants. Get a restaurant guide at a tourist center, or motel, or pick one up as you come into town. Good Luck

in the downtown area try copia on washington ave for wine and seafood and steaks. moderately priced and big portions. theres a great crepe place called rooster on 11th street in between washington and olive. good crepes and salads and espresso drinks. on south broadway near the ballpark theres broadway oyster bar. they serve cajun style food thats just as good as ive had in new orleans. if you make it a little further down broadway and make a right on russell you will be in the soulard district. tons of great little bars and restaurants pepper this neighborhood. try nortons or mcgurks. both have awesome patios that are very secluded and garden like. on washington at 20th street theres a nepalese restaurant thats great called everest. mosaic is a nice tapas style place around washington and 11th. avoid "the landing" down by the river as well as union station. these are boring and and generally disappointing to visitors. mike shannons by the ballpark is also good for appetizers and drinks. late night grub is good at missouri bar and grill on tucker. if youre looking to have drinks and shoot pool or throw darts or something, try jack patricks on tenth and olive.

    hope this helps
