Paypal is now owned by eBay. Establish a paypal account and when you post the item for sale, make paypal an accepted form of payment. If a buyer pays you through paypal, then the money shows up instantly in your paypal account. You can store/save money in your paypal account or you can instantly transfer it to your checking account.

DO NOT USE PAYPAL!!! Paypal lets buyers get refunds and keep the merchandise. They will also freeze your account with all funds for 180 days with no reason. I am an ebay powerseller and I only accept money orders and cashiers checks. If you plan on accepting paypal you're better off just throwing your stuff in the garbage, it's cheaper and less frustrating.

I haven't used my Paypal account in so long, I don't really remember much. I did want to warn you that there is quite a bit of spam going around that is very well disguised (even directing you to a website that looks identical to Paypal, except you want't upload anything) as being FROM Paypal.

If you do get an account, and are notified by Paypal through your e-mail, I'd wait and answer them through the e-bay site, and nowhere else.

Just thought I'd fill you in!

I think you need to go to www.paypal.com to create a paypal account first. Once you enter your credit detail and pay the necessary charge, you need to confirm your email and wait for your credit card statement to complete the account.

Well, first, if you are selling something BIG, like monitor, TV, computer, etc, I suggest you use a Trading Assitant. Find out more at: http://pages.ebay.com/tahub/index.html. Otherwise you are fine.

Please, before dealing with Paypal, you need to be aware that they are allowed to retain your money for a long period of time, Please be caretul. It happened to me, so I am letting everybody know. It's horrible.
