The most successful item for the smaller banks is Personalized Service
Most smaller banks know that they have to "try harder" to have people choose them over the larger institutions --- so -- they usually set about-- to put specialized efforts into knowing their customers somewhat better on a person-to-person basis !!

The smaller banks have less overhead to deal with and thus save on tons of administration fees. With the current inverted yield curve it is making it hard for smaller banks to make money.

Well...it's always best for the smaller company to keep promoting their company, so they can make themselves more convient to others; therefore, allowing them to be more recognizable. The smaller banks should give smaller interest!
