Who should control Iraqs oil? If we are there for the noble causes, Liberty, Democracy etc. no brainer?

The Iraq Goverment is being pressured by the U.S to address and pass an oil bill that would lock Iraq to private BIG OIL contracts for up to 30 years.

Update 4: I'm hoping people could walk this through. If the articles were read & seen. The law would require oil exectutives be IN the IRAQI goverment making decisions on who received the contracts, leases etc. This would be a never ending source of war/terrorism in that area. This would be a never ending source of war/terrorism in that area. If that is the case, that means U.S troops will never ever leave. In essence we will be an occuppying nation in the Iraq. With Iran next door with the 3rd largest oil reserves. Hey, apparently many on yahoo are quite comfortable with all this. I just wonder if people play chess or poker or have a thought process. I just can't stomach the bumper sticker answers any longer. If someone sides with certain actions I can respect that but please call it what it is.
