It's really very, very good, darling. Like darling Meds, I'm not a fan of the show because each episode seems exactly the same to me, but I've loved Hugh Laurie since Blackadder, Jeeves and Wooster, and Fry and Laurie days and I know exactly what he sounds like in real life, and even I forget that he's not American when I hear the accent he uses on House. I also agree with darling Meds that the woman who plays Sarah Walker on Chuck does a really good job with her accent...and so does Anna Torv, who plays Olivia Dunham on Fringe - I had no idea that she's Australian. Doctor of Medicine (M.D. or MD, from the Latin Medicinae Doctor meaning "Teacher of Medicine,") is an academic degree for medical doctors. It varies between countries, from being a first professional degree, to being a relatively rare higher doctoral academic research degree.

Supposedly Bryan Singer didn't realise he was English when he hired him for the role based on an audition tape. That says it all.
