Audio equipment need to be used for listening sacd
I would like to know if I want to listening the better sound of SACD in home, what kind of audio equipment need to be used? I already have a SACD/DVD player in home. However, I want to know how to select headphone, speakers and amplifier for listening sacd. I would like to buy a headphone first to feel the SACD sound immediately. What suggestion do anyone advise me? Thanks for good suggestion

Unless you are talking about 5.1 channel SACD, or else you do not need to worry about what kind of audio equipment will be needed to achieve better sound. The fact is many people feel that even a moderately good system should reveal a significant difference between SACD and CD.
SACD audio is stored in a format called Direct Stream Digital (DSD), which differs from the conventional PCM used by CDs.
DSD is 1-bit, has a sampling rate of 2.8224MHz, and makes use of noise shaping quantization techniques in order to push 1-bit quantization noise up to inaudible ultrasonic frequencies. This gives the format a greater dynamic range and wider frequency response than the CD. Philips and Sony suggest that SACD is capable of delivering a dynamic range of 120dB from 20Hz to 20kHz and an extended frequency response up to 100 kHz. The fact is only a few home audio systems can accurately reproduce sounds above 20kHz, and most recording chains are designed around this limit.
Therefore, unlike THX certification, you don't see SACD certification for the SACD audio equipment except for SACD players.
In conclusion, you do not really have to buy special audio equipment for SACD listening. Perhaps the only thing you can do is to choose equipment with superb frequency responses.
One tips for SACD listening: Pop music is typically compressed to a small percentage of the maximum available dynamic range, and thus would not benefit from the extended dynamic range available in SACD. So listen to jazz or classical music instead if you are looking for "better sound".
