Is it difficult to immigrate to Australia?

I'm Canadian and thinking about moving to Australia. Have you done this? I'm thinking about things like citzenship, employment, and cost of living.

Love to hear your advice, suggestions ...

Australia is working on a new citizenship test at the moment for people wanting to immigrate here, but your English would be fine.

Check out the web page of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship at http://www.immi.gov.au/

To get an idea of the cost of living, wages, housing etc, look at the various newspapers online, particularly on a Saturday: The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age (Melbourne), The Mercury (Hobart), the Advertiser (Adelaide), The Canberra Times, The West Australian, The Courier Mail (Brisbane) and the Northern Territory News (Darwin).

One of the hardest countries to move into.
