Personally, I prefer Chinese food. I hope I'm not too biased, as my parents have raised me on rice. (I'm Chinese. xD) But I'm not the stereotypical Asian who never eats anything BUT Chinese food, so I do have things to base it upon.
For one thing, the stuff that I eat every day is so much HEALTHIER than a burger and fries. I know that a lot of Chinese food isn't the ideal health food either, but I don't eat much fried foods at home. Also, there is such a variety of things to eat.. not just stuff you'd find in restaurants like sweet and sour (which is my absolute FAVORITE, by the way) and egg rolls, but also the special recipes that my mom uses from her hometown in Canton. There are also so many distinct styles of Chinese cooking; every different part of China has its own flavors.
Don't get me wrong. American is unbelievably diverse, too. But I guess it's just a personal choice, about which is better... so yeah. I probably rambled way too much, so I'm just post ing this now. =)
