whats the meaning of these lines"i am one of those melodramatic fools ,neurotic to the bone no doubt about it" from the song basketcase by greenday and "hear the dogs howling out of time ,to a hymn called faith and misery ,and bleed, the company lost the war today " and"hear the drum pounding out of time, another protester has crossed the line,to find the money on the other side"from the song holiday by greenday

In basket case, he is describing his troubles with his panic disorder, and how he feels like a total nutjob.
The song holiday, at that part, is talking about the soldiers that go into the war, the benefits that the govt. and certain corporations get from the war, and the fact that the people protesting against the war are the ones getting sh*t on and put in prison and such.
Both good songs. I like Green Day, it's good stuff.
