Is there another good free spyware removal out there or is Spybot Search and Destroy still the best???

SpyBot is certainly NOT the best. Consider these free anti-spyware:
1.Spyware Terminator - real time protection, daily updates, embedded anti-virus, no ads / pop-ups
The only hitch is that you will have to keep the HIPS feature turned off (but real protection), unless you want something like 20 alerts per minute. Also, make sure that you download ONLY ST (3 MB) from their site, and NOT ST + Web Security Guard (8 MB).
2.AVG anti-spyware: Daily updates, large database, deep scanning
3.AdAware SE: No more the best, but still better than SpyBot
4.A-Squared: Daily updates, large database, deep scanning, simple and effective
I am not saying that SpyBot is bad, but it's certainly not keeping up with the pace of others.

Spybot may seem to find the most but I don't think you can call it the best. Different anti-spyware scanners find different types of spyware so you can't really define one as the best. I have a list, all of them are free, all of them are good. Download as many as you desire.
Ad-aware - Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP
AVG Anti-Spyware - Windows 2000/XP/2003
SuperAntiSpyware - Windows (All Versions)
a-squared free - Windows (All Versions)
Windows Defender - Windows 2000/XP/2003
Spyware Blaster - Windows (All Versions)
Spyware Terminator - Windows (All Versions)

-- To the person above with the weird name, why do you say ST is the best? I have been using it for a while now and it has never actually found anything. On the other hand spybot finds at least 10 infections every 12 hours (scheduled to scan 6pm and 6am).

I like Windows Defender and Advast Windows defender can get rid of your spyware problems and adware. Also Advast monitors ABSOLUTLY EVERYTHING, that involves the internet. And yes the Home version is free!!! And trust me it will let you know when there a bad email or download. I have advast on all of my computers.
