GOP Candidates?

Are their really any good GOP candidates running in '08? Seems like the most popular, McCain, can't decide which side he really wants to be on.

There does seem to be a wider gap between Republican candidates than the Democrats this time around. Usually it is the Republicans that are together and backing a limited field. Conservatives have their favorites, progressive Republicans have their favorites, main stream Republicans are frustrated at the prospects of another neocon possibly running further ruining the reputation of the GOP. Some Republicans may vote Democratic as long as it isn't someone too far left like we had last time. Others may just simply stay away in protest.

No, I don't think there is anyone in the GOP that will emerge strong enough to win. Not that there aren't good people on the GOP side it is that those good people are not well known and do not have the war chest built up to compare with the front runners in either party.

Very good question. But if your really looking for a good GOP leader you couldnt really pick one. But if your looking for a knowledgeable trustworthy war vet. then you want John McCain. He knows what side he is on and quit frankly is the best of this GOP candidates. He knows alot and he doesnt flip flop like most other GOP candidates. McCain is a Republican, you cant change it and evedentually neither could the Democrats who wanted him already. He could of became president if he would have switched. But he is loyal and sticks to his word, best off he knows and admitts when he is wrong. So reask the question to yourself. You have the only vaild anwser right there, just read up more on him.

First of all, McCain is not the most popular by a long shot. Over all I think we have a good group. We still need Fred Thompson in the mix and we need to let them have enough debates to choose our candidate.

If you watched both debates, it is clear that all the GOP candidates are more than capable of taking the '08 election over the Dems.

this recent day not one of the GOP applicants ought to conquer Obama. Ron Paul is a Libertarian disguised as a Republican who lives in the black and white international of the 50's. Bachman and Perry are a ideas acceptable Tea get jointly "wannabes" who're quite yearning extreme dollar e book bargains or sweet television talk educate contracts. they merely love being in the spotlight. Santorum appears to be like on his personal planet combating all his Darth Vader combatants . Romney is merely too busy digging up smut on Gingrich who's beating him in the polls. Ginrich is all smiles and conserving his tongue. he's afraid if he opens his mouth too a lot his recent Gallup pollratings will plummet. He loves being the 2012 version of Bob Dole. And undesirable Huntsman. shall we merely say that. undesirable Huntsman. no longer a lot of a contest for Obama.

Ron Paul is the only one of the current lot I would vote for. The debate was a joke. We saw no new thinking, no interesting ideas, and no commitment to the problems that concern working Americans. They seemed to neither know nor care about anything but the war and abortion.

Theres Rudy Joulnie, Mit Romney (my favorite), Commie Thompson.

Theres ten of them total. These are the medias talks.

Its funny how everyone knows the democrats, well its because the media already picked who they wanted to win.
