The rest of the nation isn't quite as twisted as Cali.

They made a movie about this....

Anyone can be governor, I guess that's just a case in point. Jay Leno and Letterman didn't graduate from Yale, so they would lose right away.

Jay Leno's chin would just end up running the office, and David Letterman....well....his day would consist of top ten lists, and throwing items from the oval office into big tubs of water to see whether they'll float or not. And eating charcoal. It would get boring after a while.

Jay Leno would be my choice. He actually is a very smart guy. He just plays dumb on TV.

He is a Republican and he is better than Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Because Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to save the world, the robots have come to wreak havoc again, and so to stop them, the men from the future sent him here in this time to rule California, because California is the robotic monster's new target! And Arnold Schwarzenegger has come to save it with some robotic monster butt kicking weapons, and moves that are so fast you'll think your a snail! Baaaaamm!!!!!

Because Leno and Letterman have no interest in politics except for monolouge fodder. Their shows are late night and though it's popular for the below 50ish demographic, people are split on who watches who and even then, that's not that many people.

Leno will be made fun of because of his chin; Letterman, because he's old.

David Letterman. Leno is boring in evaluation. Letterman is the extra effective comedian and interviewer. He does not tip toe around his travelers, he shall we them have it if he sounds like doing it. the proper are those that roll with it.

well...they certainly wouldn't be able to go straight from their talk show to the presidential election but it possible for them to go into politics. Ronald Reagan was an actor before becoming president of the screen actors guild, which was a labor union. That was his first taste of politics. He became governor of california after that and then he ran for president. It takes some time to establish yourself but its certainly possible.

If they could make "Bonzo" man, Reagan; and "Chimp" boy, Bush; why not Letterman for President? Paul Schaffer could be the First Lady.

  • jay just helps get people elected Arnold for instance

Because they make more money doing their shows than they would being president. Besides, they can bash any political puppet, regardless of their own political following, and make money. Fred Thompson, another famous person, maybe considering the bid.
