Which is the best flat fee MLS real estate broker or a discount real estate agent in Chicago, or Illinois?
I would like to list my house for a flat fee in Northern Cook County Illinois (north of Chicago) - can someone recommend a good flat fee discount MLS agent or broker?
I would like to pay $300-$400 for the service and not more than 2.5% commission to the buyer's agent, but still be able to sell on my own as FSBO. Thanks!

Branko Gjoreski at http://www.taxresales.com/ is the best in Chicago - $249 for a 12 month MLS listing, 6 photos, unlimited changes, showcased on Realtor.com and ChicagoTribune.com, unlimited open house notifications....
This agent is endorsed by http://www.taxresales.com,/ a big tax buyer in Chicago, and if they are using him, he must offer the best deal - these guys sell hundreds of distressed real estate parcels.Source(s): http://www.taxresales.com/

Sounds more like you have a real estate agent license. You will need to sign on with a Broker. The Broker will direct you in regards to the MLS details.

There are some flat feel discount brokers out there, but I have not seen one for less than $249 with a showcased listing, other than the guy at http://www.taxresales.com/ ....
To the poster above - times are changing, and being full service REALTOR will be ok for the best only - competition will eat away your profits very soon and discount brokers will prevail...
One of the reasons for their success is that they are not involved in the transaction, and their services are so standardized that they cant go wrong...there will be times when people will pay a-la-carte for real estate services, and then there won't be any FULL service brokers....just like with stocks 10 years ago...Source(s): http://www.taxresales.com/

I checked this website out and they are no longer offering this service. I am trying to list my condo for sale on MLS.
I have been working with Metro Realty. I found the website here on yahoo answers before. They offer $249 Flat Fee MLS and the customer service has been awesome so far. Their website http://aflatfee.com/ has tons of information.
