細tec civic一問

想問: 本身常用d mode 跑,想加速是否可隨時較去s mode 有沒有要上到一個轉數比較使用得較佳或令速度力提高得好? 另外當我加速到一個速度滿意後,知道開始要慢速,可以直接較去d mode 或更低轉的e mode 嗎?還是也有要用break拖低轉數才較mode 會效果較好呢,常常較mode 會使波箱快柴?Last一問:(eg:一大直平路,這3個mode是替代為 加速至減速?即想快就較去s,要拖慢就較去e..有這個加減速用途嗎?)

    Your Civic is equipped with CVT (continuous variable transmission), where D = Drive, S = Sport, and E = Economy. Your idea in the paragraph will apply to a normal transmission but not a CVT. Think about it as all three modes will do the same thing as D, with S operating at the peak power at most of the time, while E works with the lowest gas consumption/highest efficiency possible. Don't treat S as downshifting in a normal transmission for better power or E as a downshifting to slow down the car. It doesn't work like tiptronic or +/- mode, because, again, it's a CVT and not a normal transmission with fix gears.

    Long story short, CVT is a very efficient but expensive transmission. If you want to accelerate, the best way is to quickly jab on the gas pedal real quick and back off before fully pressing on it, as it will trigger the computer and tell it that you want full acceleration. Or if you want the car to have the best performance all the time, just leave it in S. To slow down the car, just step on the brake instead of playing with the gear box. Think about it, it's always cheaper to change the brake pad than to fix the transmission.

    I don't remember if there's an L slot in the Civic's CVT transmission. Yes, for steep uphill you may switch it to L for start up, but once it's getting up to speed (or when you start to hear the engine making noise) then you should switch it back to D or S.

    I still won't use L to slow down the car. This car comes with ABS so I would just step hard on it and focus on the steering during emergency stop. The CVT is $$$$$ to replace.

    基本上,引擎愈高轉,功率愈低,愈浪費燃油,不過就愈好力。

    D mode:可能逢 3000rpm 就轉波,車的加速力不強,不過很慳油。

    S mode:可能到 6000rpm (or 開 tec) 才轉波,車的加速力會很強,不過用多好多油。
