other than bananas n oranges which fruit is sold in dozens?????

I didn't know bananas and oranges were sold by the dozen. I sure don't buy them that way. I don't even see how it's possible for bananas. You can certainly buy a dozen of many fruits if you were so inclined. I rarely need 12 oranges, or as much as 12 of any other fruit for that matter. Some fruits are sold by the case, which is generally more than 12. Got me on this one.

Well you can buy a bag or oranges or tangerines and they probably have close to a dozen per bag. Same would go for apples. I don't think it's possible to find a bunch of bananas with 12 per bunch. . . . You could probably by any fruit by the dozen, or by the case which would have more than a dozen, if you wanted I just think it's not as common.

I have never once seen any fruit in any country sold in dozens.

our local fruit & veg shop has just started selling dozen bags of fruit
he sells plums, nectarines, peaches, apples, oranges, bananas..... almost any larger fruit you can think of
