Can you increase your vocal range when singing?

I have been singing karaoke the past year after really not singing for about 15 years. I have a decent voice, but it bothers me that my vocal range is somewhat limited. I wish I had 2 more whole notes at the top and bottom of my range. Is there anything I can do to increase my range? I am 41 years old. Thanks.

yeah i'd say so try a vary of songs each day.say one day have a high song* and the next some thing different .work on it its not as if your inexperienced and rubbish in fact your the opposite

Yes, because the more you sing the wider your range become. But the less you sing the (lower) and narrower your voice range becomes. Overall hint: Sing more.
