I'm buying a new stereo & i want to run my tv sound through it!?

i have noticed that new stereo units don't have av ports?. how do i get round this,without forking out for a home cinema.

You can connect the TV to the Microphone plug, if it has any. But the sound will be TERRIBLE.

Otherwise, bummer. Spend a bit more and get one with AV ports...
