    Let x = 1st integer

    Then x+1 = next integer

    Now translate the words into an equation:

    Since "product" means to multiply...

    and "sum" means to add...

    (x)(x+1)=(x)+(x+1)+19

    x^2 + x=2x+20

    x^2 - x -20=0

    factor: (x-5)(x+4)=0

    So x = 5 or x=-4

    Plug back into your variable assignment (Let...)

    So the sets of integers that work are 5,6 and -4,-3

    These answers both check.

    Good luck!

    x(x+1)=x+9

    x^2+x = x+9

    x^2=9

    x=3
