Want a comprehensive career list to choose from.?

I want to see a comprehensive list of all the different careers there are for people to choose from in the United States. I have some ideas in mind for my future, but want to be sure that I haven't overlooked any possibilities that I may like even better. Is there a website or somewhere that I can find a list like this?

it lists just about every career and everything about it

Rather than just look at a list of "jobs," spend the time to read and do the exercises in the book "What Color is Your Parachute." For the past 25-30 years, it has been the best resource for deciding what you want to do when you grow up.
