Is there a decent credit monitor service online?

I'd like to hear from people who have actually used the services out there that are available. I know of a few main ones but just wondered in your opinions which do you recommend from experience.

Yes. You can go right to the source at:

equifax.com. They are charging $9.95 per month and you can trust it - this is not a third party report.

While there you might want to get your annual free credit report. The government has passed a law requiring the credit reporting agencies to provide this every year. There is a good article with loads of info at Your Property Path or just go here:

    www.annualcreditreport.com or

    Call toll-free 877-322-8228

Freecreditreport.com is pretty good but its not free. They charge about $10/month and they also email you when there is activity on your credit report. They also will give you all 3 major credit scores. Probably worth it if you are wondering about your credit. You can also cancell at any time and the first report is Free.
