repair of Kodak Easyshare C643 digital camera??

Hi, I am having lens problems with my camera..yes it had one accident and it drpped two inches to the ground and now the lens wont close when i turnt he camera on it just makes a shutter noise cuz its trying to adjust itself but it wont move..its like jammed..then a message comes on saying lens error and then it shuts off...im just wondering can i fix it myself..any tech people know...and what do i have to do..also if i cant is it worth it to buy a new lense or just replace the camera..thanks....

around the front side of the lens is a small rubber gromet or it could be a thin plastic one, if the lens wont close chances are the gromet came loose just push it back in and it should work fine.
