There was less than 200 Jews in Palestine in 1800.
Britain was at war with France. France had colonized much of Northern Africa, including Egypt and some of the Middle East. Britain was afraid that France would not allow Britain passage to India. It decided to import its own people into Palestine. In the late 1840's it offered British Jews free land in Palestine.
Palestine was open land free of people.
During the 1840's some British Jews moved to Palestine. Due to climate, agricultural failures and disease, most returned to Britain. Palestine was rural but inhabited. (This is a lie started by the British to remove Jews from Britain and to gain leverage in the Middle East.)
The Zionist movement began in the late 1800's. The founders of this movement were upset that Russian Jews were more Russian than Jewish that Polish Jews were more Polish than Jewish and European Jews identified more with their country of residence than with their religion. The Hebrew language was nearly extinct. Their first step was to revive the language and force European Jews to use Hebrew as their language. They decided that just encouraging or even forcing Jews to use Hebrew would not work, they would still be Polish Jews, Russian Jews, etc. and if they ever learned Hebrew, it would still be their second language. The Zionist decided Jews needed a home of their own. Most Jews were not Zionists and were against this idea.
In 1882 Argentina was selected as the site of the Jewish homeland. Britain which had been encouraging British Jews to move to Palestine for more than 30 years suggested to the Russian Jews (the main force behind the Zionist movement) why move to Argentina when Palestine was closer and it was “open land with no owners.” Yes, the British continued to spread this lie.
The number of Jews in Palestine reached 1500 in 1860.
In 1881 the number of Jews in Palestine was 10,000.
The Zionists who were desperate for a Jewish homeland turned down the British offer of a homeland in Palestine.
In 1904 the Fourth Zionist Congress decided to establish a national home for Jews in Argentina.
In 1900, Palestine had a population of about 600,000 of which 94% were Arabs.
If you believe the Bible it is talking about a particular race.
Jewish people are not all the same race.
There are several Jewish studies, including some being conducted in Israel that separate Jewish people into two groups - Sephardic and Ashkenazic Jews. DNA and genetics prove that the Bible would not be referring to two groups as the chosen people.
The Ashkenazic Jews converted to Judaism and is not the group mentioned in the Bible.
Arabs have been fighting Jews for thousands of years.
There were no problems in Palestine or in the Middle East until the Ashkenazic Jews arrived in Palestine. Arabs and Jews, both Sephardic and Oriental, coexisted peacefully for over a thousand years. When Jews were kicked out of England and France, they fled to Arab controlled Spain. When they were kicked out of Spain, after the Christians defeat of the Moors, they fled to Morocco and the other Arab countries in Northern Africa. Most American Jews are European Jews and thus Ashkenazic Jews. Most of the Jews in Israel especially those in power are Ashkenazic Jews.
Ashkenazic Jews are from western, central, and eastern Europe.
Sephardic Jews are from Spain, Portugal, southern Europe, and North Africa.
