How to say basic food names in arabic?

I'll be going to the middle east on monday and I realised that I might have trouble communicating!!!

I was wondering if anyone could just post simple words in arabic, especially food names like: grilled chicken, grilled lamb, bread, rice...

It would really be helpful!

Thanks!

P.S: please put the english transliteration because I can't read arabic!!!!!

it really does depend on where you are going in the middle east because every country speaks differently and some people here are egyptian and giving you that translation and im syrian and i could be giving you a different translation. they are very similar but can still vary
