it is a kind of programming code, but incomplete.

it means when (2+2 = true) then 5,

a variable will get the value 5 if 2+2 = true,

in Perl is any term which has the result >=1 true and the result 0=false,

so 2+2 = true (in Perl) then a variable which you didn't mention gets the value 5

    Definitely!

if you are working with floating point numbers, then you round off to zero decimal places, you're equation is purely possible.

suppose your 2 was obtained from rounding down 2.49999999999999999... to one zero place

then if you add them up, you'll get 4.999999999999999999999999999998.

if you then round off the result to the same number of decimal places, you'll get 5!

In chemical reactions, yes. Some chemical mixtures actually increase the mass.

  • To me, it is, because I do not believe in the infallability - that is to say - the objective truth of numbers.

Numbers are a contruct of man; all is one.
