Perry Ellis Tuxedo - "normal cut" or more of an "athletic cut"?

I'm looking at purchasing a tuxedo online and would like to know if anyone is familiar with the Perry Ellis Lido

I'm not familiar with that particular model, but definitely with Perry Ellis suits.

If your shoulder width is more than 5-6 inches greater than your waist, go for the athletic cut, otherwise, the pants will be too big and will have to be tailored (if even possible).

For example, I wear a 42R jacket and have a 32in waist. The 42R "normal cut" comes with 36in pants - way too big - even too big to be tailored.

The "athletic cut", on the other hand, has an 8 in difference, so the 42R jacket comes with 34in pants - much more easily tailored.

Suit/tuxedo fit is the key to looking good, so try it on if possible! Hope this helps.
