More than friends?.....Or am I imagining things?

My best friend and I are very close.....She is a lesbian and my sexuality is disputed ( I have been with women, but I am not a complete lesbian at this point). So we always hold hands and give each other little pecks on the lips and say 'I love you' a million times a day, but lately I have been having these sex dreams about her. I told her about it and she thinks it's hilarious. She said, "You know I am eating this up". (No pun intended.) She has always said that she is attracted to me, but I think neither one of us want to ruin our friendship now. Anyway, things have been getting a little awkward lately and I am just wondering if there is potential for us to be more than friends? And should I want there to be? I don't know what to do! For all I know she doesn't even like me like that.....

I think if there's potential, and you want it, then you should cultivate it. But go slow. Slow is the only way you'll be able to keep the friendship running smoothly. Just let it grow the way it needs to be. At least you've been honest and up-front. That's a really awesome step and plants the seeds for potential. Hope it all works out for you!

Oh she probably does like you like that because she has told you that she is attracted to you, and she seems to enjoy the fact that you are having those dreams about her.

What is it that you want from this? It will change your friendship to a certain point, but that doesn't have to be bad! Actually, you are already very close and you might be a lovely couple....

So, I think you will have to find out for yourself what is holding you back.. do you only want friendship, or do you want to give it a chance?

Is there potential for you to be more then friends? Gee that is a loaded question. Of course there is. But I have one suggestion... Take it very very slow and be sure it is what you want before proceeding. If it doesn't work the friendship will most likely be destroyed in the process.

Wow i wish I had the opportunity to fall in love with my best friend. Wouldn't it be awesome...go for it! Just never let jealousy, expectation, neediness or obligation creep into the relationship and well...you would have the ultimate orgasmic best friendship.

This is such a personal question. There is nothing anyone can tell you to do. This is your choice.

On another note you do not "turn" into a bisexual or lesbian. You may be questioning, curious, or unsure, but don't say you are not a "complete lesbian at this point" because that's just insulting.
