This is a cookie that I made at Halloween for the kids in the neighborhood...
Malted Milk Ball Cookies
3 dozen 20 min 10 min prep
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup sugar
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups flour
2 tablespoons instant chocolate drink mix
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups malted milk balls, chopped
In bowl, cream butter, sugars and beat in eggs, and vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to creamed mixture.
Stir in malted milk balls.shape into 1 1/2" balls.
Place 2" apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes, or till set.
Cool for 1 minute before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
-------HOW ABOUT SOME MUFFINS...
Malted Milk Ball Muffins
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup coarsely crushed malted milk balls
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 large egg, beaten
3/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
6 tablespoons butter melted (3/4 stick)
3 tablespoons milk
Heat oven to 375*F (190*C). Grease and flour a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, malted milk balls, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a small bowl, combine egg, sour cream, vanilla, butter and milk. Add to dry ingredients, mixing until just moistened. Do not over mix.
Fill prepared muffin tins two-thirds full. Bake for 16 to 18 minutes or until muffins test done. Cool in pan on wire rack.
Makes 1 dozen muffins.

Chocolate Malt Delights
Yield: Makes about 1-1/2 dozen cookies
1package (18 ounces) refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
1/3cup plus 3 tablespoons malted milk powder, original or chocolate flavor, divided
1-1/4cups prepared chocolate frosting
1cup coarsely chopped malted milk balls
1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease cookie sheets. Let dough stand at room temperature about 15 minutes.
2.Combine dough and 1/3 cup malted milk powder in large bowl; beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared cookie sheets.
3.Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned at edges. Cool on cookie sheets 5 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
4.Combine frosting and remaining 3 tablespoons malted milk powder. Top each cookie with rounded tablespoonful of frosting; garnish with malted milk balls.
