Do you think that we should give tax breaks to religious organizations wholesale?

I personally think that only the ones who help the poor should be exempt. Please consider Bob Tilton, Jimmy Swaggart, etc when answering my question.

I believe that there is not enough accountability on the part of churches and faith-based organizations. I also believe that they should pay some taxes---Jesus was not opposed to the payment of taxes.

I think the breaks should be given to all of them, or none of them. And by the way, if you look up the word "religion" on Merriam-Webster's online dictionary, you'll find that atheism is a religion. Therefore, atheistic organizations should be afforded equal treatment under the law.
