Why did the chicken cross the road? There are many useful things we learn about our world by studying volcanoes and geology. It helps us understand the processes of how the earth was made, and where we come from. These are considered to be some of the most important questions ever asked. You are introduced to some of these concepts in grade school in the hopes it will spark an interest in learning about these things. School really isn't a place that you go to learn, rather, it's a place you go to learn how to learn. That is to say, you go and get exposure to a variety of questions in which hopefully something will get your attention, and you'll want to, of your own choice, want to actually learn about it on your own, and perhaps even discover something that nobody else has.

To understand fully how you enviroment effects you and other. Every little thing effects each other. Like plates under the earth effect volcanoes in a big way.
