Should the US federal communications commission take on the task of monitoring and regulating?

the publication of the tabloid newspapers?

    No. Freedom of Speech, even if it is nothing more than trash talk.

    We do not need more government in this country.

    well for the press to do that it would cost the tax payers money, and the entertaining business earns enough wages as it is, but I do feel that those people who are in the entertainment business, should pay a fee to the communication commission if they want good press because I feel that's there responsibility.

    Of course not. That's why we have the Bill of Rights, 1st Amendment, Freedom of Speech.
