well I used the same method w/ both my girls. They were potty trained at 3yrs (just barley 3) and 2 and 1/2.

What I did is I took them to the store and let them pick out underwear. They were very excited about this. Put the panties on and asked them every hour or so to try the potty.

I knew they were not ready if they peed their pants and didn't seem to care - I'd wait and try again in a few months, BUT if they had an accident and they're like crying and yuck get these wet panties off - I knew they were ready.

Keep asking them if they have to go and let them see you get excited when they make it.

In my opinion pull ups don't work - it's just another diaper - but I know they work for some moms - but my kids got it way quicker w/ panties, and they really feel like a big kid.

One more tip I like to do it during summer so they can be wearing sun dresses so they can get their panties down quicker w/ out having to do the button and zipper and all that.

    Good Luck

I kind of just let it happened after giving my kids a potty seat and talking about the potty training thing. Both of my kids were trained by about 2 1/2 but I used to put pull ups on my daughter at night until about 3 because she used to have accidents in the middle of the night. I found if you dont stress and make a big power struggle about potty training it is much easier. Do you know any adults that aren't trained??

In Europe, eighty five% of children children are potty expert via 18 months and approximately ninety nine% via 24 months. In international locations like France, Denmark and Sweden they ought to be potty expert earlier than they begin nursery college, more commonly among 18-24 months. That was once the case within the US till the Nineteen Eighties as good. It's as much as you whilst you desire to do it, however children can begin to be potty expert from approximately 15 months. There is not any Best age, however the mom and dad ought to be competent to spend plenty of time and vigour coaching the children and be constant. It's no longer some thing you'll be able to check out sooner or later, make a decision they don't seem to be interested, check out once more in a couple of days, they don't seem to be interested once more, check out in yet another week,, and so forth, and so forth. When you begin, you ought to check out for no less than an complete week. If it nonetheless does not paintings, then deliver your child a couple of months and take a look at once more.

My daughter will be 3 next month and she is fully potty trained . I think it up to child.....when she's ready she's ready, Consistency is important. Every 30 mins. take her to the potty. Of course this will make you a prisoner in your home for a few days but when it clicks it clicks you know? Rewards are good too!! Also, if you have a little training potty put it in the middle of the living room and let her roam all day bottomless (naked!) it is easier for her to sit on the potty w/out having to mess w/ clothes.

I put her on the potty every hour and told her to push, and celebrated when she went potty we did it so much everyday that i actually gave up for a week, and then she started doing it on her own, I did give her m&ms too probly bad but what the hell lol,,, and we got her underwear that she loved!!!

MY little girl was trained before she was 2.5 years old. Let them tell you when they are ready. to the point that she would pee in her diaper, let me know, take it off, and put a new one on. I showed her where the potty was and told her that if she had to go potty then use her potty. Since then she has had hardly any accidents. The problem is that they don't tell you until they are ready to go.

My daughter was potty trained when she was two almost three. We got a video for her called "potty wotty" and watched it with her. It only took one time of watching it and she picked the potty thing up right away. She was the easiest child to potty train.

when they are ready you probably don't want any little messes with their clothes or that new sofa!!

don't forget that beige carpet ouchhh!

my sisters and brothers at age three which is a good age i think lol

    good luck!

We started when she was just going to turn three and all we did was sit her on the potty untill she would go and then we would all clap(she likes when we do that) as a form of positive reinforcement. ehen they strt to go pick them up and run them to the potty and sit them on it and clap(or whatever you do) to let them know that you like when they do that and slowly they will do it on their own. hope this helps.

My daughter was two and a half. I gave her a Skittle every time she went. I know...bad for the teeth...but it worked!
