Is this a new method of Jihad for Muslims?

There are many Islamic sites that are exclusively designed as a forum for hackers to destroy websites that criticise Islam. One of them is a high-profile moderate Islamic site that tries to attract non-muslims to Islam:

Other sites also include:

What do muslims think of this? is it legal to ATTACK websites that oppose your ideas?

There are websites out there that criticise just about any and everything you can think of, from what religion you choose to be to what kind of underwear you choose to wear.

I really don't think it's going to be possible for any one group to destroy every single website that disagrees with them, or that criticises them.

I'd rather see them trying to hack a website than to bomb a day care center....

Gives 'em a hobby, I guess.....

To attack or condemn islam, to refuse to become a muslim is, by the written word in the qur'an, your death sentence.

If you have no fear of a fool who's entire life is his religion and is willing to confront you then it wont matter, his course is set.

You can ignore the threat of the qur'an but you may die.

Don't close your mind to the horrors the TV documentaries produce to demonstrate the radical islam, Remember the moderate and peace loving muslim is in fear also.

First of all, you are believing that I know what is going on in their heads. I don't know who they are and why they are doing this. Sorry, but I'm not psychic.

Heck, I'm more worried about stopping children pornography on the internet then worrying about hackers.

Oh and I don't know Arabic. I was born and raised in the U.S. so I speak English and I'm learning German right now.

I'm not Muslim, but I think they would say that in war, anything is okay. And some see it as war. That's just my guess.
