Yes, click the link above. There have been recent findings of homosexuality in penguins and other animals, but not on a large scale. This may be arguably because of the issue that

    A) The populations of these animals are not nearly as large or accessible as the human population, and thus, impossible to identify "gay communities"

    B) People don't usually look for gay animals.

    But, yes, there are.

  • Yes. There was just an exhibit in . . . Finland? . . . on this. Somewhere in the Netherlands, anyway.

Also, I used to have a dog who was not only a lesbian, but believed herself to be an alpha male! She attempted to court and breed with both of our other female dogs, and wouldn't let other male dogs near them. When one of the two was bred, she immediately fell out of favor - Phoebe wouldn't so much as look at her for weeks.

  • Homosexuality has been exhibited in over 1,500 animal species.

Yes. Several animals have been proven to only mate with the same sex throughout their lifetimes, and many more species have been shown to have members that engage in homosexual acts from time to time.

    Hope that helps.

Animals don't label themselves like humans. They just do what ever they want and don't really care what anyone thinks. You can call them what ever you want be it makes no difference.

My ex-girlfriends dog used to suck it's own ****. He didn't give a **** who was laughing at him.
