You'll have to post a bond on her (if there is one). Call the bonding company (look in the yellow pages) and they will explain you the procedure and do it for you.

Also, you can always contact the facility, but all they will tell you is if she's there or not. They wouldn;t know the details on her. Actually, you can ask if there is a bond on her or not. Maybe she will write you and tell what you can do. They can't call from there, but they can send mail.

Yellow pages.......Look up Harris County Jail Detention Division or call the main switchboard.......Ask if your friend is in jail and what the bond is........Go to a bail bondsman which are located all over downtown Houston by the jail, they want 10% and a 100.00 fee. She'll be out in no time. The only way it will be free is if has never been arrested before and it is not a Class B offense or higher, then she should be able to get out a PR bond meaning no money is needed.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aNHD1

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

    Stephanie,

Go to a bonding company, they will call the jail and find out everything you need to know. Then you will post a bond for her, the bonding company delivers the bond to the jail to have her released. It will probably take about 12 to 24 hrs after that for her to walk out of there. On week ends it could take longer. Actually you can call the bonding company, they will do this, but you have to go in to post the bond.

Try calling the Harris County Jail and tell them you need to know what her bail is to get your friend out.

The list of inmates is public knowledge.. open to the public but sometimes difficult to get. All you really have to do is call the jailhouse. I've done it for reports before. They are normally very helpful if you know the name of the person... meaning they will tell you if the person is there or not...

Information of inmates are not usually available online. Thus, request the the Warden of the Harris County Jail if your friend is imprisoned thereat. They have the listing of the inmates in their custody.

In Michigan we have the OTIS system. It is listed on our government site. It only lists felons and prisoners. CHeck your state website, or call the county jail.
