Do companies really try not to employ international students?

    Yes, it's not just because of the languages. If a foreign student wants to work in the US, they have to get a visa -- this requires the company to do extra paper work to employ them, costing them money -- they may even have to contact an international employment lawyer. If the company wants to keep the person longer, the company may even have to help the person get a greencard. That costs even MORE work and money. So because of that, some companies, especially small ones, can't or don't want to employee international workers. Because of that, it's only usually big companies that can -- or companies that don't have to help you with the visa etc.

    Yes especially if you speak a foreign language from a country that they do business with.
