Absolutely! The Republican Party has become a bunch of liberals. They have grown the federal government to a size which is completely at odds with their rhetoric. The only difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Dems would like to have a Socialist People's Paridise RIGHT NOW, and Republicans are willing to drive 55 to get there.
What happened when we sent Republicans to Congress in 1994? Well, government spending has gone up. The tax code is still the onerous, confusing morass it's always been. They didn't even have the guts to cut funding for the National Endowment for the Arts. They are a joke!
Congressional Republicans have given Ron Paul the moniker, "Dr. No" (he's a medical doctor), because he is the only one who takes a principled stand on issues of taxes, spending and government intrusion.
There are a couple of other decent Republicans, but most of them are not even worth spitting on. If a Republican with a record like Ron Paul's ever runs in a general election, I will vote for him; otherwise, I doubt if I will ever vote for any of the lying ********s ever again.
Republicans and conservatives will not stop carping about the Grandest Liar of All, Bill Clinton. They need to take stock of their own for a moment and look at their own party.
