child graduates college in may at age of 20,child turns 21 in september.what stipulations are there for emancipation

every state/case is different (slightly) about this, so it depends upon your state and your court order.
look at your court order, it should say. if it doesnt, then you can always file a motion asking the court to end it on 'such-n-such' date.
that way, it will take effect when the child is done and needs are fullfilled.

This will vary from state to state but child support ends at 18 if the child is not in school. When the child finishes school the child support ends. This is the general rule.

It will end when the child graduates high school or college up to age 21, but you will have to petition the court to have it discontinued before then.

Child support should STOP the month the child graduates. It did with me anyways!!

I would think 18 or out of college is the norm but I'm not sure. Try www.divorcenet.com and look up your state laws.
