Can I grow a tree in Denver that will stay green in the winter-time? No Pines please!?

Are there any trees that I can grow in Denver colorado (usda zone 6A) that will stay green in the wintertime? If so, what are the tree types?

    How about a holly? They're green in winter.

    That's the only thing I can think of that's not a pine.

    I'm giving you a link to the Arbor Society page with a Holly Tree so you can take a look. There are a couple different types of Holly though. I have one in my yard here in NC and it stayed green all winter.

    I used to live in Denver so I know they grow there.

    How about "Magnolia Grandifloras"It stay green all the winter and in the spring ,blossom big white flowers with a good smell.It's a big tree.I know this because i study horticulture.

    Arborvitae! Small fir like tree. Works well in most soils and temps. Holds up well to ice storms too.

    How about an eastern red cedar? They have pretty blue berries in the fall.
