Don't you think right wing gung-ho politicians should volunteer for the surge?

All these chickhawks calling for more sacrifice by others make's me sick. Why don't you all make the big sacrifice and join the Army or Marine Corp and voulunteer for Iraq and Anbar Province or Baghdad duty? And don't tell me about your education, baby, family or career because the dead of war do not have to worry about those small problems!

No, they would bring down the level of the finest military in the world, since they lack military training of any sort, for the most part, and none of them have ever served in a combat zone.

So all you conservative hawks, look at this list, and then tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. Facts are apparently very confusing to you.

Then visit the link below, and see who really supports the troops.

    Republican coward list part one:

    * Dick Cheney: did not serve. Several deferments, the last by

    marriage...only shoots stunted

small birds with a shotgun so he wont miss.....not even that.

    * Dennis Hastert: did not serve.

    * Tom Delay: did not serve.

    * Roy Blunt: did not serve.

    * Bill Frist: did not serve.

    * Mitch McConnell: did not serve.

    * Rick Santorum: did not serve.

    * Douglas Feith: did not serve.

    * Christopher Cox: did not serve.

    * Newt Gingrich: did not serve.

    * Don Rumsfeld: served in Navy (1954-57) as flight instructor.

Republican coward list part two, this includes several brave Fox

    blabber mouths:

    * B-1 Bob Dornan: Consciously enlisted after fighting was over in

Korea...no really I wanted to fight....

    * Phil Gramm: did not serve.

    * Dana Rohrabacher: did not serve.

assigned to Alabama so he could campaign for family friend running for

lights and cameras while someone else flew the plane.

Not a bad idea, but first... The best way to support our troops is not to run out on them when your country needs you.

Why don't we send G.W. Bush and Dick Cheney to Iraq, and let them drive a poorly armoured humvee around the streets of Baghdad for awhile?

Isn't it about time that they fought for their country too? After all, unlike our brave service members and veterans, they never have...

Oh wait, Dick Cheney said he has better things to do, so let someone else go fight and die for their country. Maybe Cheney's daughters & the Bush twins? Naw, they're all better than the rest of us.

As they say, RHIP (Rank Has It's Priviledges).

Maybe some of you war-mongering neocons, sitting in your living rooms or college dorms, happy to send others to fight and die for you, while you sit home and exercise your right to speak freely and spew hatred - rights for which so many OTHERS have given their blood. Will YOU go fight? Didn't think so...

I agree with you 100% brother!

It's now well established that George W. Bush never showed up for National Guard duty for a period of approximately one year, possibly more, in 1972-1973. Despite all the talk about "honor and dignity," President Bush has apparently flushed his down the toilet. President Bush went AWOL!! Cheney himself also received 5 deferments! Both of these men are “Chicken Hawks.”

Yet they boast to the media and brag to the people while they send our troops into harms way. Then when are troops come home wounded, scared, and maimed they cut their benifits and health care and toss them to the side like a piece of but wipe.

Yes we have some real winners trying to run this country but all they are doing is driving the good name of America straight into the dirt.

It's time to Stand up America! It’s time to support the good men and women of the United States Military!

The time is long overdue for a radical protest against the filth and corruption that has infested the United States Government.

This is about the lies of 911, the illegal war in Iraq and bringing our troops home to their loved ones. If you are a true American Patriot you will join in and become a part of this wonderful event that is about to take place.

The U.S. antiwar movement and the impeachment movement are becoming entwined, just in time for the March 17 rally at the Pentagon. Here’s the best part! You don’t have to travel all the way to D.C. to perform your Patriotic Duty to America. There will be hundreds of Anti-War protest happening across the Nation. Los Angeles is having a massive protest Saturday, March 17th 2007 at Noon. Other locations include...

Phoenix, Arizona Monday, March 19th 11:30 am

San Francisco, California Sunday March 18th 12:00p.m.

    Denver, Colorado Friday March 16th 5:30 p.m.

    Boise, Idaho Sunday March 18th 1:00 p.m.

    Chicago, Illinois Tuesday March 20th 6:00 p.m.

Kansas City, Missouri Sunday March 18th 1:00 p.m.

Las Vegas, Nevada Saturday March 17th 2:00 p.m.

New York, New York Sunday March 18th 1:00 p.m.

    Portland, Oregon Sunday March 18th 12:00 p.m.

Salt Lake City, Utah Monday March 19th 11:00 a.m.

These are just a few of the locations....

I support our troops 100% and it’s time to bring them home.

As Americans it is time to make our stand to protect the Constitution and Fundamentals of what this Great Country was founded on.

I encourage everyone to copy and paste this information and post it as often as you can until the March 17 protest begins.

Thank you...together we can make a difference... happy protesting!

My best friend is already in Iraq.

    2. When the dems started Vietnam you didn't see all the congressmen on the Dem side lining up to go overseas and fight, and i do not hold that against them.

It is not a politician's job to fight in a war on what he votes on, it is against the law to do so if you are a elected official anyways.

I hate logic like yours it makes no sence to me.

I agree with you 100%. You can gamble with other people's lives (there family and friends) but they can not risk there own necks to save our country. What happen to leaders fighting with there men/women? It kind of makes me sick to think of so many young lives being taken.

Look, war's going to happen. It doesn't matter where, it doesn't matter when, and it doesn't matter why. War is a necessary evil that WILL always happen if we ever want human civilization to grow and evolve.
