For a post graduate work, this can get pretty specific, which means that you have to scour general works from microbiology books towards specific ones, such as epidemiology papers regarding Escherichia (if not Entamoeba) coli and antibiotic resistance/sensitivity. There's just too much information on this that it would be difficult (not impossible) to give you all the resources.

Don't just go in the internet; hit the books instead in the library and search for general micro books and scientific papers, such as journal of applied microbiology, epidemiology, and immunity and infection, for starters.

I don't mean to be a jerk, but if this is a post-grad project, the first thing you need to learn is how to search the literature on your own. Try PubMed.
