    My answer assumes that you're dealing with angles in radians since your potential answers suggest that.

    The sine function completes one cycle in 2 pi (not pie!).

    But in your situation, the value of x, the angle, is multiplied by 4. As a result, the sine function will complete 4 cycles in 2 pi, or 2 cycles in pi. You want 3 cycles, not 2 so you need to multiply the interval by 1.5, or 3/2. Your function will complete 3 cycles in 3pi/2
