Does this mean my friend was bad mouthing me?

I ran into someone that me and my pal know and they were being very rude to me.I don't know this person well,only talked to them once...but they acted as though I'd done something to them.Does this mean my friend was bad mouthing me to them?

You wont really know unless you go talk to that friend and ask them! If they are a real friend then they'll tell you and if they wont tell you if they did or not then forget them there are always more friends in the world for you to hang out with!! You can never have to many friends!!!
